Shameen Govender joined SWOP in 2002 and is responsible for co-ordinating a range of the organisation's activities, including the breakfast seminar series, conferences and workshops, as well as SWOP's programme designed to train staff from the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) in the analysis of contemporary social issues.
